Dequaiseon D. Evans , known as Lil Sheisty, and Quentene E. Williams , known as Funny $Money, were killed in a Milwaukee recording studio shooting on Monday afternoon, Aug. 17. The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s Office identified Evans, 21, and Williams, 33, as the two men who died from gunshot wounds at the scene. Police were called to the building near 31st Street and Cameron Avenue at about 3:40 p.m., according to Fox 6. Milwaukee police said a 33-year-old man and another unidentified victim were pronounced dead at the location, while reports said a 28-year-old person was arrested and the case was referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office. What Happened at the Studio? The Milwaukee Police Department said the circumstances surrounding the double fatal shooting remained under investigation as of Wednesday, Aug. 19. Authorities had not publicly identified a motive or announced charges connected to the reported arrest, so the case is still firmly in “receipts pending” territory rather than a story with a confirmed explanation. Evans was remembered by relatives as a young father of three and an emerging rapper. At a vigil on Aug. 18, his twin sister Jaquaisa Evans said wearing his jackets helped her feel close to him, while nephew TJ recalled telling Williams, “I love you and be safe” shortly before the killings. Williams was a longtime presence in Milwaukee hip-hop and had released the video for “Goldie/I Ain’t Lying” on Aug. 14. The independent rapper also put out Paid But Not Full, Vol. 1 earlier in the year, following multiple 2025 projects including Streets Calling , Don’t Talk 2 Much Vol. 4 , Uncomparable , and Sorry I Was Trapping .
