Donald Trump is scheduled to appear Thursday on “Mea Culpa with Michael Cohen ,” the podcast hosted by Trump’s former attorney and fixer, according to a Wednesday report from MS NOW. The planned interview would reunite two longtime allies whose split fueled criminal investigations, congressional testimony and years of public attacks. MS NOW cited an unnamed White House official who discussed the booking before it was publicly announced. The appearance marks a dramatic reversal for Cohen, who worked for Trump for more than a decade before becoming one of his most outspoken critics. From “Take a Bullet” to Podcast Rivals Cohen pleaded guilty in 2018 to federal charges that included campaign finance violations and received a three-year prison sentence. Cohen later testified before Congress, published the 2020 memoir “Disloyal: A Memoir,” and took the witness stand in Trump’s New York criminal case involving a $130,000 payment to Stormy Daniels before the 2016 election. Trump was convicted in 2024 on 34 felony counts of falsifying business records connected to that payment. The podcast booking also fits Trump’s broader media strategy: Trump used appearances on shows hosted by Joe Rogan and Theo Von during the 2024 presidential campaign, while Cohen has turned “Mea Culpa” into a platform for political commentary and stories from his Trump years. The White House did not immediately comment, and the interview’s subject matter remains unclear.
