President Donald Trump criticized Fox News on Sunday after the network gave limited airtime to his Saturday rally in Vandalia, Ohio. Trump posted at 9:11 a.m. ET on Truth Social, about three hours into Fox and Friends, and accused the channel of ignoring his event. Trump also claimed that rallies in Alabama, Texas, and Oklahoma had drawn sold out crowds over the previous two days. He said Fox viewers wanted more rally coverage and warned that he could stop watching the network if its programming continued to leave out his events. What Set Trump Off? Trump singled out Fox News contributor Jessica Tarlov , calling her stupid and objecting to what he described as the network repeatedly putting her views in front of his supporters. Trump also revived his criticism of Fox’s past treatment of Maria Bartiromo , claiming the network punished her after she complained about coverage of his campaign. According to Mediaite, Fox News did mention Trump’s Ohio rally during the Sunday broadcast, including his defense of data centers, although the segment was limited. Trump’s complaint followed Fox News supporting CNN after Trump barred CNN, Politico, and MS NOW from the White House press pool, adding another chapter to his increasingly public pressure campaign against the network.
