Donald Trump criticized Fox News on Wednesday, accusing the network of giving Democrats more airtime than Republican allies and “real patriots.” Trump singled out Chuck Schumer, Hakeem Jeffries, Jessica Tarlov, and other Democrats in a series of Truth Social posts. Trump argued that Fox News repeatedly broadcasts criticism of him and the Republican Party before offering Republicans only brief chances to respond. Trump also claimed his movement will never fully embrace the network because of what he called its consistently negative coverage. Why Is Trump Fighting With Fox News? Jessica Tarlov regularly appears as a rotating co host on Fox News’ political program The Five , while Schumer and Jeffries are prominent Democratic leaders from New York. Trump separately insisted that the country is performing better than ever in several areas, but said the public is not hearing enough about what he described as record setting results. The outburst arrived days after a federal judge ordered the White House to restore access for CNN, Politico, and MS NOW. The ruling blocked Trump’s attempt to exclude the outlets over their alleged fake news coverage of his administration. Trump has also faced criticism over political advertisements funded by the U.S. government. The ads promote promises to dismantle the Deep State, remove alleged warmongers from government, and target communists, Marxists, and fascists, prompting Morning Joe host Joe Scarborough to accuse the administration of using taxpayer money for strongman messaging.
