Dorit Kemsley won a temporary court victory over ex-husband PK Kemsley in their fight over a $6 million Los Angeles mansion, after a judge rejected PK’s emergency request to list the property for sale at a hearing held ahead of an August 26 review. Dorit lives there with their two children. PK asked the court for permission to sell the six-bedroom, 10-bathroom home, arguing that overdue payments could put the property at risk of foreclosure. Dorit’s attorney, Samantha Spector, countered that the situation did not qualify as an emergency, and the judge agreed for now. So Who Pays the Mortgage? According to the legal dispute, PK says he covered the household bills for months but stopped after moving into his own residence. PK has also accused Dorit of spending nearly $1 million on clothing and travel while mortgage payments allegedly fell behind. Dorit disputes that account and says PK has the financial ability to bring the payments current. Dorit also argues that PK should continue covering the home’s expenses because he is not providing formal child support or spousal support. The mansion will remain off the market for now, with the court set to revisit the issue on August 26.
