Kehlani canceled upcoming concerts in Camden, New Jersey, and Washington, D.C., on August 26 after a painful health episode sent the singer to the hospital. Kehlani said she had been feeling fine during two days off before suddenly becoming unable to swallow and learning she was not cleared to sing. The canceled dates are part of Kehlani’s 41 stop World Tour, which launched August 6. Kehlani apologized to fans while saying her team was working on a possible solution, and she currently plans to return to the stage in Richmond, Virginia, on August 29. Kehlani Is Putting Her Health First Kehlani shared photos from a hospital examination room alongside the update and described the cancellations as heartbreaking. The singer also said that following a wellness routine does not guarantee that unexpected health problems will stay away. In an August 20 Billboard interview, Kehlani explained that exercise, time outdoors, medication, and a consistent schedule help support her mental health. Kehlani publicly discussed diagnoses of bipolar disorder and borderline personality disorder in April 2025, and recently revealed that she is recovering from sinus surgery after doctors found blocked nasal passages that had affected her breathing for seven years.
