The medical drama led all shows with 25 nominations, and Wells told USA Today in April 2026 that Wyle encouraged her to enjoy the experience because the series was his professional territory. Steve Carell and Nancy Carell , who married in 1995 and share two children, skipped a joint carpet appearance. Carell still credited Nancy with helping him prepare for his 12th Emmy nomination for The Rooster, telling L'Officiel that they read scripts together and know exactly how to make each other laugh.
