BloodHound Q50 , whose real name was Mikquale T. Cooper , was killed Sunday in a shooting at a BP gas station in Chicago's Fuller Park neighborhood. The 22 year old rapper was in a white Tesla around 4 AM when six masked gunmen allegedly opened fire. According to the Chicago Sun Times, Cooper had just arrived with a 29 year old female passenger when a black Infiniti and a silver Honda Accord pulled into the station. The passenger reportedly moved the Tesla near the entrance before Cooper took the driver's seat, and authorities say the gunmen then surrounded the vehicle. What happened at the gas station? Police say two suspects came from the Infiniti and four others arrived from the Honda before shots struck Cooper in the chest and shoulder. Chicago Fire Department personnel responded, but Cooper was pronounced dead at approximately 4:35 AM, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office. The medical examiner later determined that Cooper died from multiple gunshot wounds and ruled the death a homicide. Investigators say the shooters escaped in the two vehicles, while nearby buildings and other cars were also damaged; no arrests had been reported, and the investigation remains ongoing.
