Milania Giudice ’s longtime friend Victoria Zardoya died on July 27, three days after falling at Florida’s Fort Dade ruins on Egmont Key, according to the District 12 Medical Examiner’s Office. The 20 year old University of Tampa student’s cause of death was listed as craniocerebral trauma, and the manner of death was ruled accidental. Victoria Zardoya was visiting the historic site with friends on July 24 when she fell down a set of stairs. Friend Victoria Silberbusch said the group initially believed Zardoya had fallen only one level, then realized she had landed much farther below and began an emergency rescue effort. A heartbreaking loss for the Giudice family Gia Giudice , 25, remembered Victoria as an angel, while Joe Giudice , 54, said Victoria had become part of his family after growing up alongside Milania. Joe Giudice described the loss as devastating and used the tragedy to urge people not to take their loved ones or ordinary days for granted. Silberbusch said some friends climbed toward Victoria while others called 911, and a nearby boat used flares to help rescuers find the group. Paramedics arrived by boat, and a medical helicopter later transported Victoria to a hospital after what Silberbusch described as a difficult rescue.
