Stevie Wonder announced a world tour on September 8, 2026, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Songs in the Key of Life this fall. The legendary singer will perform the 1976 double album from beginning to end at every scheduled show. The tour begins October 13 in Birmingham, England, and moves through the United Kingdom and Europe before closing November 11 in Glasgow. Wonder will then bring the production to the United States, opening November 19 at Madison Square Garden in New York City and finishing December 19 at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles. Why This Album Still Hits Songs in the Key of Life is a 17 track, nearly 90 minute landmark that reached Number One on the Billboard 200, earned Diamond certification from the RIAA, and won Album of the Year at the Grammys. The record also delivered the Number One hits I Wish and Sir Duke, alongside enduring favorites including Isn’t She Lovely, Pastime Paradise, Black Man, and Knocks Me Off My Feet. Wonder released the album on September 28, 1976, after securing a new Motown contract that gave him substantial creative control. Tickets for most US dates go on sale September 10 at 10 a.m., while Detroit tickets become available September 15 at 10 a.m. local time; Wonder’s website has the complete schedule and ticket details.
